Detroit Lions wide receiver Ryan Broyles admits that he feels as good as he has ever felt in an off-season in his NFL career.

Detroit Lions wide receiver Ryan Broyles has claimed that he is healthier than he has ever been during an NFL off-season.

The 26-year-old's career in the league has been blighted with injuries as he sustained a torn ACL going into the 2012 Draft, and then suffered the same injury in the 2012 season with the Lions.

He managed to bounce back for the 2013 campaign only to be sidelined with an Achilles injury, but despite his bad fortune Broyles has admitted that he is still loving life in the NFL.

Broyles told the Detroit Free Press: "I haven't felt this healthy to do anything in the off-season. I [couldn't do] a lot of pounding. But this off-season I feel like I'm going to be able to get a full off-season.

"Man, I'm in a blessed position, to be honest. Football or not, I feel like I've been pretty fortunate throughout life.

"I've been fortunate enough to go to Third World countries and see people that didn't have anything. So that just keeps me positive. I'm always a positive person. I've got a lot to look forward to."

Broyles has recorded 30 receptions for 395 yards and two touchdowns in his two-year career.
