Detroit Lions head coach Jim Caldwell has revealed that his side relished their experience playing in the International Series at Wembley Stadium.
The Lions recorded a last-gasp win over the Atlanta Falcons as Matt Prater kicked a game-winning field goal as time expired.
Caldwell, whose side rallied from a 21-point deficit to claim the victory, told reporters: "You know, it feels great. It really does. It was great for us in terms of our preparation. I think that, I don't think it could have been any better. Guys had focus and energy is what we were looking for and the town has been absolutely superb.
"From where we stayed out in the Park, to coming in on the Intercontinental, to the people that we met on the streets and the fan rally and all those kind of things, it was a great experience.
"I think our guys enjoyed it, but certainly we take our hat off to all of those that were involved in putting this thing together, the league office and the like, so it was a tremendous experience for us."
Caldwell's side are now 6-2 in their season following their victory at Wembley.
