Calvin Johnson has admitted that he was not fully fit during the Detroit Lions' game against the Cleveland Browns last week.
The wide receiver missed the game before with a knee injury, but was able to return for the 31-17 win over the AFC North side.
The 28-year-old told the Lions' website: "I definitely wasn't 100% last week and being in and out of the game you really don't get into a groove. You want to be hot by staying in the game, but it's just hot and cold when you go in and out of the game.
"It's definitely going to be good to get back home [this weekend] and get some of that energy from the crowd. If we can make some plays early in the game it gets the crowd into it and we will be rolling. We have definitely been playing well as a group the last couple of weeks.
"We aren't going to see busted coverage or anything like that because they have some experience in that group. They are going to play their techniques well, so we have to just be on point, especially on the outside. We will have to make plays because we will be seeing single-high coverage."
The Lions host the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
