The Detroit Lions have announced that Myron Lewis has signed a contract with the team.
The cornerback was a free agent after being released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier this week.
The NFC North side have found themselves short of cornerbacks, with Ron Bartell, Jonte Green and Chris Greenwood all missing their pre-season win over the New York Jets on Friday with injuries.
Lewis was drafted by the Bucs in 2010.
