Detroit Lions wide receiver Golden Tate has slammed the Buffalo Bills for carrying former Lions head coach Jim Schwartz off the field on Sunday.
The Bills sealed a 17-14 win at Ford Field and many have since criticised the move to carry Schwartz off the field after his role in the victory.
"It's a terrible gesture. It was planned? That's a total douche move," Tate said, according to NFL.com.
"It's something that doesn't go unnoticed. It's in the past. Hopefully they feel good about the Rudy moment that they had."
Tate is one of the few Lions players to not have played under Schwartz last season after he completed his move from the Seattle Seahawks in the summer.
