Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Teryl Austin has revealed that he has been planning for the return of Ndamukong Suh for the 2015 season.
Suh will be a free agent when the league year officially ends in March and is expected to be one of the most sought-after players on the market.
However, Austin believes that the 27-year-old will return to the Lions and is looking forward to having him back at his destructive best on his side's defensive line.
"It hasn't crossed my mind," Austin told the club's official website. "I'm planning on him being back. I think anytime you have a great player, he impacts your defense in a positive way.
"I mean that's what he is. You can't get around it. You can sugar coat it or say whatever you want, but he's a great player. He changes the game."
Lions president Tom Lewand is also confident that the defensive tackle will not be leaving the Lions in the near future.
