Green Bay Packers offensive tackle Bryan Bulaga has suffered an injury that could force him to miss the entire 2013 NFL season.
The Packers are still waiting for confirmation of the severity of the injury, but fear that Bulaga could have torn a ligament in his knee during their intra-squad scrimmage on Saturday.
Bulaga finished the scrimmage despite the injury, only reporting a problem with one of his knees after the session was over.
The 24-year-old was set to start the NFL season in an unfamiliar left-tackle role, but this setback could see Marshall Newhouse return to the position that he occupied for most of last season.
Bulaga has had a torrid time with injuries recently, missing 11 games over the last two seasons due to various problems.
