Free agent defensive back Jim Leonhard has revealed that he has had talks with the Green Bay Packers over the possibility of joining the club in time for training camp.
The 31-year-old is currently without a club after his deal with the Buffalo Bills was not extended at the end of the 2013 season.
"It would mean a lot, but we've had a lot of conversations with teams, Green Bay being one of them," Leonhard told WQOW-TV.
"They're a great organisation. I'd love to play for them but it hasn't worked out up to now. You never know what can happen in the future, but we'll see."
Leonhard recorded 41 tackles and four interceptions for the Bills in the 2013 season.
