Green Bay Packers defensive end Ryan Pickett has admitted that it is a massive blow to lose his teammate Johnny Jolly for the rest of the season.
Jolly sustained a neck injury in his side's win over the Dallas Cowboys and due to the severity of the problem the club have deemed that he will not be able to play until the next campaign.
Pickett told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel: "It hurts that he's not being able to play, but he'll bounce back. We believe he'll bounce back. If anyone can fight through anything, it's Jolly. His spirits are good.
"He's been a leader out there. He's been playing great. He's been a whole lot. We're going to miss him out there for sure."
Jolly has 21 tackles and one sack in the 2013 campaign.
