Green Bay Packers tight end Andrew Quarless has told reporters that Aaron Rodgers played a key role in team practice on Wednesday.
Rodgers has been out with a broken collarbone in recent weeks, and was still a major doubt for Sunday's game with the Dallas Cowboys at the beginning of this week.
However, Quarless was not shy in telling reporters that Rodgers was a participant in training, raising further questions about his status for the weekend.
Quarless told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel: "It was good to see Aaron out there really working with the offense. He was out there before, but it wasn't much with the offense.
"Today he took some offensive reps."
The Packers have dropped down the NFC North standings since they lost Rodgers to injury, with their hopes of making the playoffs fading.
