Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has insisted that he has not given up on making a swift return from injury, but admits that he is unsure when he will be fully fit.
Rodgers broke his collarbone during Green Bay's 27-20 loss to the Chicago Bears earlier this month, forcing him to sit out of Sunday's defeat at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles.
The 2011 MVP concedes that he is unlikely to be ready to face the New York Giants this weekend, but did open the door for a return against the Minnesota Vikings on November 24.
"I haven't given up hope on playing any week. It depends on how I heal. Obviously this week is probably not going to happen. Not going to happen," Rodgers said on his radio show on ESPN.
The Packers added depth to their quarterback position by signing Matt Flynn yesterday after Rodgers's replacement Seneca Wallace also picked up an injury during the loss to the Eagles.
