The Green Bay Packers beat NFC North rivals the Minnesota Vikings 24-21 to make it three wins on the bounce in the NFL.

Eddie Lacy scored two touchdowns to help the Green Bay Packers to a third consecutive victory today, beating NFC North rivals the Minnesota Vikings 24-21 at TCF Bank Stadium.

The Packers picked up the only points of the opening quarter when Lacy hurled himself over a mass of bodies and into the endzone for a one-yard score.

The Vikings hit back towards the start of the second quarter as Teddy Bridgewater floated a 22-yard pass over for Charles Johnson to level the scores.

However, Green Bay soon regained the lead as Aaron Rodgers peeled off to the right side of the pitch before firing a crossfield pass to a wide-open Richard Rodgers in the endzone.

Blair Walsh reduced the deficit with a 39-yard kick late in the half, while he made it a one-point game in the third quarter with a mammoth 51-yard effort.

Mason Crosby responded with a 48-yard goal of his own to restore the four-point gap before Lacy made things a little more comfortable for the visitors, collecting a Rodgers shovel pass and bundling over the line for his second touchdown of the night.

The Vikings refused to give up, however, and got themselves right back into the game when Greg Jennings scored against his former club, while the two-point conversion was successful.

However, they couldn't find another score late on as Green Bay held out for the win that takes them top of the division with an 8-3 record, while the Vikings now sit bottom at 4-7.
