Rick Dennison: 'Business as usual for Matt Schaub'

Houston Texans offensive coordinator Rick Dennison believes that quarterback Matt Schaub is ready for Sunday's match against the St Louis Rams.

Houston Texans offensive coordinator Rick Dennison has insisted that it is "business as usual" for quarterback Matt Schaub despite his recent form.

Schaub became the first player in NFL history to throw an interception that was returned for a touchdown in four consecutive matches on Sunday, as the Texans fell to a 34-3 defeat at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers.

Head coach Gary Kubiak confirmed today that Schaub would start Sunday's match against the St Louis Rams, and Dennison believes that the 32-year-old is ready for the game.

"My meetings with him he's been fine. We installed the offense, he understands what we're trying to do. It's business kind of as usual. Everybody's kind of in their routine. We're behind it, we're ready to go," Dennison told reporters.

The Texans have lost three matches in a row and are currently third in the AFC South with a 2-3 record.
