Rick Dennison has said that DeAndre Hopkins has improved during the Houston Texans rookie training camp over the weekend.
The first-round draft pick had to leave Friday's session early after suffering with cramp, but was able to continue to next day.
The Texans' offensive coordinator told the team's official website: "Obviously, he's got great ball skills and he works hard.
"We're putting a lot on these guys and he's working at it. He has good size, good ball skills and he's getting better."
"I think our evaluation was pretty good. He's right where we want him. We just have to keep developing and keep working at it."
Hopkins scores 14 touchdowns and had 1,405 receiving yards during the 2012 college season.
