Houston Texans running back Arian Foster has revealed that his hamstring injury "doesn't seem too severe" despite being forced to leave yesterday's match against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Foster limped off the field in the first quarter of the match, returning to the sidelines later to watch his side fall to a fifth consecutive defeat as the unbeaten Chiefs ran out 17-16 winners.
The Texans have a bye next week and Foster, who had four carries for 11 yards before the injury, hopes to be fit again when his side return to action against the Indianapolis Colts on November 3.
"It's a hamstring. It doesn't seem too severe right now, so we will just play it out. I have a bye week coming. It's tough," Foster told reporters.
Foster led the AFC in rushing yards with 531 going in to yesterday's match.
