Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson is confident that he will be fit for his side's clash with the St Louis Rams on Sunday.

Johnson sustained a shin injury three weeks ago and has been struggling with the knock for the past few games.

However, he has come through practice this week and has admitted that he is feeling back to his "best".

"I went through practice, and I'm feeling fine," Johnson told the Houston Chronicle. "After watching the [San Francisco] game last week, you could see I was dragging my leg when I was trying to run.

"Today, I went out there and practiced, and I felt like I got my range of motion back. It's the best I've felt so far since I've had the injury. I'll be out there."

Houston are 2-3 in their season going into week six.
