Johnny Manziel has said that the Houston Texans should use the first pick in this year's NFL Draft to acquire him.
The former Heisman Trophy winner, who played for Texans A&M in college, is projected to be a first-round selection in May's Draft.
The quarterback told the Houston Chronicle: "I want [the Texans] to say absolutely, without a doubt, with 100% certainty, that I'm who they want. I want everybody from the janitor at Reliant Stadium to the front office executive assistant all the way up to [owner] Bob McNair to say, 'This kid is 100%, can't miss'.
"They're a team I've watched every year since I was a kid. I want to be the number one pick. It's something I've dreamed about. With the pieces they already have in place, I could fit in, I'm a Texas kid. The state means a lot to me.
"[Letting the Jacksonville Jaguars select him with the third pick] would be the worst decision they've ever made. I'd be in the same division playing against them twice a year. Sorry, but you just turned that chip on my shoulder from a Frito into a Dorito."
The Texans have the first pick after finishing the 2013 NFL season with the worst record in the league.
