Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton believes that Andrew Luck has developed the perspective of a coach just three years into his NFL career.
The 25-year-old has excelled for the AFC South side since he was selected with the first-overall pick in the 2012 Draft, as he has reversed the fortunes of the franchise following the departure of Peyton Manning.
Hamilton now feels that his relationship has changed with Luck so much so that he has started to heed his advice when planning for games.
"Andrew is at a point where as far as his understanding of an NFL defense, his perspective now is like a perspective of a coach," Hamilton told the team's official website.
"It's well documented that he's a smart guy, but now I think his overall football acumen, or should I say football aptitude, is at a point where his feedback and his suggestions, I really take heed of the advice that he gives."
Luck has thrown for 12,597 yards and 86 touchdowns to 43 interceptions in his three years in the NFL.
