Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Da'Rick Rogers believes that he has earned the trust of the club after a troubled career in college caused several NFL teams to pass on him.
The 22-year-old showed high levels of talent at the University of Tennessee, but a missed drugs test and several other red flags forced the team to suspend him, forcing Rogers to transfer to Tennessee Tech, which caused him to drop out of selection in the 2013 Draft.
"I believe I showed the Colts that they can trust me, that I can come to work and be professional every day," Rogers told ESPN.
"That stuff is in the past. It's all about football for me. I'm still pretty disgusted with the loss and dropping those passes. I'm going to take a little bit of time off and then I'll be back here in Indy working out all the time."
Rogers had 14 receptions for 192 yards along with two touchdowns for the Colts.
