The Jacksonville Jaguars have announced that wide receiver Ace Sanders has been released from the side.
Sanders was originally brought into Jacksonville during the fourth round of the Draft in 2013, but the 23-year-old has since failed to make his mark on the Jags after two seasons.
The release may come as a surprise given that some sections of the press had suggested that Sanders was due to play as a returner during the 2015-16 campaign.
Sanders was suspended for the first four games of the 2014-15 season after violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.
