The Kansas City Chiefs have secured their second win of the NFL season with victory over the Carolina Panthers.
The game at Arrowhead Stadium began with a moment's silence for the victims of domestic abuse, following the murder-suicide involving linebacker Jovan Belcher on Saturday.
Touchdowns from Peyton Hillis and Tony Moeaki, plus a field goal from Ryan Succop saw the Chiefs take a three-point lead at half-time.
John Baldwin increased the home side's lead in the third quarter, before Louis Murphy reduced the Chiefs' lead to three points, before another Succop field goal took the final score to 27-21.
Despite the win, the Chiefs have the worst record in the NFL, while the Panthers are bottom of the NFC South.
