Miami Dolphins defensive end Cameron Wake believes that his side have the ability to have one of the best defensive lines in football and is determined to prove it.
Wake was named in the All Pro team in the NFL in 2012, while fellow lineman Randy Starks and Paul Soliai have been named to the Pro Bowl in the past two years.
The Dolphins also boast 2010 first-round pick Jared Odrick and third overall pick in the 2013 draft Dion Jordan in their front four.
When asked if the Dolphins have one of the best defensive lines in the game, he told reporters: "Yeah, we should be. And, you know me, I'm one of those guys on paper doesn't do anything. Papers have never won a game.
"It's not one of those things where just because we have some All-Pros, Pro Bowlers and first-rounders, now we can just throw our hat in the ring and everyone wins. We have to go out there and show it."
Joe Philbin's side kick off their pre-season campaign on Sunday in the Hall of Fame game against the Dallas Cowboys.
