Minnesota Vikings coach Leslie Frazier has refused to rule out the possibility of re-signing cornerback Jacob Lacey again in the future.

Lacey was released by the Vikings yesterday after spending just four months with the franchise. The 26-year-old suffered a knee injury early in training camp and underwent arthroscopic surgery on it last week before being released.

However, Frazier hinted that he would be keeping an eye on Lacey's progress and revealed that he is open to signing him again if he recovers sufficiently.

"We'll see how he does in his rehab. In this business you could always end up back here. You never know," Frazier told The AP.

Lacey had previously enjoyed spells at the Indianapolis Colts and the Detroit Lions before his brief stint in Minnesota.
