Norv Turner has praised Cordarrelle Patterson's improved route-running ahead of his second season in the NFL.
The wide receiver was a first-round Draft pick for the Minnesota Vikings last year, and scored four receiving touchdowns and three rushing touchdowns in his rookie campaign.
Turner, who joined the team as their new offensive coordinator earlier this year, told FOX Sports: "The most obvious thing, and you see it when he returns kicks, is he's a natural runner.
"He's got great instincts when he gets the ball in his hand and he makes great run decisions. He's got great vision.
"I think from day one to now he's improved as a route-runner. He's been very serious about working as a route-runner."
The Vikings will face the St Louis Rams in their first game of the season.
