Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer has revealed that he is "determined" to win the Super Bowl with his new side.
Zimmer was appointed on Wednesday to replace Leslie Frazier, who was fired by the club at the end of the season after guiding them to a 5-10-1 record.
"I'm determined to bring a championship to Minnesota," Zimmer told reporters. "I've got a chip on my shoulder. I want to make sure that 31 other teams know that I'm here and I'm ready to coach this football team."
The 57-year-old was defensive coordinator with the Cincinnati Bengals for six years, and will now assume his first head coaching position in the NFL.
