Former Missouri Tigers defensive end Shane Ray has been cited for possession of marijuana days before the start of the NFL Draft.
Ray had an impressive college career for the Tigers and was touted to be selected in the top 10 of the Draft, which begins on Thursday in Chicago.
However, the 21-year-old may have affected his Draft stock by being caught with marijuana by a police officer after initially being pulled over for speeding.
Ray was given a misdemeanour for having 35 grams or less of marijuana in his possession and was not arrested, but will appear at court on June 30.
The defensive end recorded 65 tackles and 14.5 sacks for the Tigers in the 2014 season.
