New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola has said that it felt "good" to be back playing for his side following a month on the sidelines.
The 27-year-old returned to action during his team's defeat to the Cincinnati Bengals following a groin injury, which had kept him out since the first game of the season.
Amendola told reporters: "I felt pretty good. There's a lot of work to be done and we've just got to get better.
"It was just something that, it was day-to-day all week and it just felt good enough to play.
"Practice is practice during the week, then you get into the game, adrenaline's flowing, it's a lot faster. I had to make sure I was ready, but I felt pretty good."
The Patriots are 4-1 in their season following their defeat to the Bengals.
