New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady missed Wednesday's practice session through a combination of a shoulder injury and illness, according to the official team injury report.
Brady is not considered a doubt for Sunday's AFC championship game against the Denver Broncos, although his absence from training with his teammates could have an impact on how the team prepares.
Wide receivers Danny Amendola (groin), Kenbrell Thompkins (hip/concussion) and Aaron Dobson (foot) were listed as limited in practice, as was running back Shane Vereen (groin) and linebacker Dont'a Hightower (ankle).
Brady's media conferences and schedule for the day were cancelled by the Patriots, but they are optimistic that he will be able to participate on Thursday.
