New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has revealed that he has never been more annoyed by a defeat than his side's overtime loss to the Denver Broncos.

The Patriots saw their unbeaten record this season ended as they lost a 14-point lead in the fourth quarter before the Broncos won the match in overtime through a 48-yard touchdown from CJ Anderson.

Brady has admitted that he was furious with the manner of the defeat, but feels that it will serve as motivation to drive his side to success for the rest of the campaign.

"It was a very hard loss," Brady told WEEI. "I don't think I've ever been so visibly pissed off after a loss. And I think everyone felt the same way. Hopefully we can use it as motivation going forward.

"Like I said, there's things that we could have done better. And it's certainly not to leave it up to a call here or a call there or one player.

"There's things across the board that we need to do a better job of and we can do a better job of. And that's what the focus is going to be this week."

The 38-year-old drew level with Dan Marino on the all-time passing touchdown list by throwing his 420th strike in the loss at Sports Authority Field.
