New England Patriots QB Tom Brady is picked by his peers as the player they would favour in the final minutes if a Super Bowl title was on the line.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has topped a survey questioning players on who they would want in a "last-gasp" game-saving situation.

As part of the ESPN 'NFL Nation Confidential anonymous player survey', Brady was picked by most as the player that they would want if theyhad reached the two-minute warning and the Super Bowl was on the line.

Brady won with 40% of the votes, receiving 128 of a possible 320, with Peyton Manning a distant second with 86 votes. Aaron Rodgers came in third, with Drew Brees, Ben Roethlisberger and Eli Manning making up the rest of the top six.

Patriots tight end Michael Hoomanawanui said of his quarterback: "It just comes from his experience, 14 years, that control he has over pretty much anyone in the huddle. He just takes over. Obviously, the fact he's done it time and time before helps out a lot, too. That's pretty much the way he goes out and plays each and every snap.

"But when it comes down to those two-minute situations, he takes it to another level. That's why he's the man."

Brady has three Super Bowl titles to his name, with each victory occurring when leading the Patriots from a fourth-quarter deficit or tie.

Throughout his career, he has led his side from a fourth-quarter deficit or tie to win on 41 occasions.
