New England Patriots safety Steve Gregory believes that his side will have continue to show "character" in their AFC Championship clash with the Denver Broncos.
The Patriots have lost six starters this season to injury as well as losing tight end Aaron Hernandez in June, following his arrest for allegedly murdering Odin Lloyd.
"The adversity comes up and you just have to build off of it," Gregory told reporters. "You have to build character, things like that. Guys stepping up, understanding the situations that you're in.
"Really just us going out on game day with who we have and finding a way to win football games. That's what we're going to have to do this week."
Gregory finished with 79 tackles and one sack in the regular season.
