New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski remains on schedule to return for the first week of the new NFL season as he continues his recovery from a torn ACL and MCL.
After suffering the injury back on December 8 against the Cleveland Browns, Gronkowski has since being going through a rehabilitation schedule in order to recover, according to the club's official website.
However, there is still a worry over the 25-year-old's ability to stay healthy for a prolonged period after a string of injuries over the past two years.
Gronkowski missed five games in 2012 and nine games in 2013, with his last full season coming in 2011 when he caught 90 passes for 1,327 yards and 17 touchdowns.
