New England Patriots receiver Danny Amendola will miss his side's clash with the New York Jets on Thursday due to a groin injury, according to a report.
The 27-year-old sustained the injury during pre-season but aggravated it again in the Patriots' 23-21 win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
Amendola limped out of the second quarter as he tweaked the muscle at Ralph Wilson Stadium but returned to make 10 catches for 104 yards.
However, after the game he experienced further discomfort making him doubtful for the match on Thursday, reports ESPN.
Amendola joined New England from the St Louis Rams in the off-season.
