New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is out of his side's season opener against the Buffalo Bills, according to a report.
The 24-year-old missed all of Bill Belichick's side's pre-season programme due to his recovery from back and forearm surgeries.
Despite practising all week, Gronkowski was not part of the Patriots' travelling party to Buffalo and will miss the game, reports NFL.com
Gronkowski has scored 38 touchdowns in his three years in the NFL.
