The Giants got their first win of the season.

The New York Giants – led by rookie quarterback Daniel Jones – overturned an 18-point deficit to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 32-31.

Jones, the sixth overall pick in this year’s draft, replaced the benched Eli Manning as the Giants sought to improve their 0-2 record going into the clash.

Early on it looked like business as usual for the Buccaneers, as Jameis Winston hit Mike Evans twice for scores in the first quarter and again in the second as the Bucs led 28-10 at the half.

But Jones – 23 of 36 for 336 yards – got two passing TDs in the third and ran in the game-tying score with 1:16 left as Aldrick Rosas made sure of the win with the extra point.

Super Bowl champions New England went two from two with a 30-14 victory at the New York Jets to continue to set the early pace in AFC East along with the Buffalo Bills.

The Patriots raced into a 20-0 lead in the first quarter as Sony Michel got the first before Tom Brady set up Phillip Dorsett and Julian Edelman. Stephen Gostkowski missed the first extra point but kicked the second and third.

Gostkowski kicked a third-quarter field goal before Rex Burkhead claimed New England’s fourth touchdown to take them 30-0 ahead.

Arthur Maulet recovered a punt fumble to get New York back into the game, and when back-up quarterback Jarrett Stidham was intercepted in the fourth, Jamal Adams ran 61 yards for the touchdown – but that was as good as it got for the Jets.

Buffalo were pushed all the way in Cincinnati and were indebted to Frank Gore, whose one-yard touchdown late in the game sealed the 21-17 win.

The Miami Dolphins prop up the AFC East after a 31-6 loss to the Dallas Cowboys took their start to the season to three straight defeats.

Dak Prescott combined twice with wide receiver Amari Cooper for scores before getting a touchdown of his own as Dallas dominated in Florida, while the Pittsburgh Steelers are also 0-3 after a 24-20 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

The New Orleans Saints topped the Seattle Seahawks 33-27, the Houston Texans bested the Los Angeles Chargers 27-20 and the Los Angeles Rams defeated the Cleveland Browns 20-13.

Kansas City head the AFC West after a hard-fought 33-28 victory at Baltimore.

A Mark Ingram touchdown gave the Ravens an early lead but the Chiefs hit back and after going in front were never headed.

But from 23-6 ahead in the second quarter, they had to hold off a spirited Ravens side as quarterback Lamar Jackson scrambled for a late touchdown to bring his side to within five points.

Indianapolis Colts made it two wins from two as the AFC South outfit defeated the Atlanta Falcons 27-24.

Over in the NFC North there were wins for Green Bay, Detroit and Minnesota.

The Packers defeated the Denver Broncos 27-16, the Lions edged past the Philadelphia Eagles 27-24 and the Vikings were 34-14 winners over the Oakland Raiders.
