New England Patriots star LeGarrette Blount has insisted that the Seattle Seahawks defense gets more credit than it deserves ahead of their Super Bowl clash on Sunday.
Blount will play a key role for the Patriots in attacking the Seattle defensive unit, but remains confident that he will be able to move the ball against the third-best rush defense in the regular season.
"I don't care about them being a top defense, they don't bother me. They were good enough to get here, just like we were good enough to get here. They're not immortal, they can be beat," he told ESPN.
"My dad was a linebacker and he couldn't tackle me."
Blount also suggested that the Seahawks players "like to hear themselves talk", and insisted that he would do his talking on the field.
