New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft has said that tonight's Super Bowl victory is as special as their first success in 2001.
Quarterback Tom Brady threw four touchdown passes, including two in the last quarter, to take the Patriots to a 28-24 win over the Seattle Seahawks in Arizona.
On the winners' podium, Kraft said: "The first one we won, I thought was pretty special. Because it happened at a unique time for our country. I never thought another trophy could feel as special, but this one absolutely does. And every true Patriot fan understands it.
"I want to thank the great coaching staff, players, because we are all Patriots. And tonight, once again, the Patriots are world champions."
The Patriots have now won the Super Bowl four times, having also been successful in 2003 and 2004.
