New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham has admitted that he is still feeling the effects of a shoulder injury sustained in week five of the season.
The 28-year-old suffered the injury against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in his side's victory at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, and he has revealed that he is fighting an ongoing battle with the problem to produce his best play.
"At times this year the shoulder has really held me back sometimes," Graham told reporters. "Other times I'm able to fight through the pain. I just got to man up and keep doing it.
"I just want to have an influence on the game, and have an impact on the game. I honestly could care less what happens out there as long as we get the [win].
"It doesn't matter, any kind of stat line you have - four touchdowns and 15 catches - if you lose."
Graham has recorded 65 receptions for 670 yards and nine touchdowns this season.
