New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton has admitted that his focus in training has shifted to seeing how the competition sizes up at left tackle.
Payton said that his linebackers tend to run together during plays and would like to see how the young backs and receivers can compete.
"I am anxious to see how we do at left tackle," he told Thetowntalk.com quotes Payton as saying. "I am anxious to see how some of these young defensive backs and receivers handle this competition.
"For me, there are a number of these linebackers who run together when I'm watching the tape.
"It is always the first impression when you get into a situation like this that is interesting. So, I am anxious to see that."
Payton took over as the Saints' head coach in 2006.
