New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan has insisted that his side will prove their quality on defense in the 2015 campaign.
The NFC South side were ranked 31st in total defense in the 2014 season as they failed to live up to their own expectations, but Ryan has backed his side to respond and show their true talent to get back into the playoffs.
"The thing is, we did a lot of talking last year and got our butts kicked," Ryan told the New Orleans Advocate. "So I know we'll be great, but we'll just prove it this year."
The Saints open their 2015 season against the Arizona Cardinals on September 13.
