New Orleans Saints offensive tackle Zach Strief admits that he will likely lose his position at right tackle to first-round Draft pick Andrus Peat in the near future.

New Orleans Saints offensive tackle Zach Strief has conceded that he could lose his job to Andrus Peat in the near future.

The Saints selected Peat in the first round of the 2015 Draft to bolster their offensive line, and Strief has admitted that he faces a huge challenge to keep his place for the upcoming season.

The 31-year-old has also ruled out shifting inside to play at guard to replace Ben Grubbs, who was traded away by the club earlier in the off-season.

"He's taking my job eventually. My job and my role is to make that take as long as possible," Strief told reporters.

"I've never played guard. I don't expect to. People don't realise Tim Lelito and Senio [Kelemete] are great."

Strief has played 125 games in nine years with the Saints.
