New Orleans Saints general manager Mickey Loomis has insisted that the club have no plans to trade quarterback Drew Brees.
The Saints have already made surprising moves in the off-season by trading away tight end Jimmy Graham, wide receiver Kenny Stills and offensive lineman Ben Grubbs.
However, Loomis has insisted that the NFC South club will not be letting the quarterback leave the team in the near future.
"Anybody who thinks we're trading Drew Brees, that's just not true," Loomis told USA TODAY Sport.
Brees threw for 4,952 yards along with 33 touchdowns to 17 interceptions in the 2014 season.
