New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz is confident that he will be able to bounce back from his knee injury.
The 27-year-old sustained a torn patella tendon in his side's defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles last week, and underwent surgery in midweek to amend the problem.
Cruz is expected to be out of action for at least six months, and so may not return until New York's organised team activities in May.
"No, I don't have any doubt in my mind. I don't have any doubt that I'll be back," Cruz told the North Jersey Record.
"I don't have any doubt that my rehab process will be successful and that I'll be in tip top shape and ready to go when the time is right.
"I don't have any doubt in my mind. I've never been bred that way. I've just never believed in doubt."
Cruz recorded 23 receptions for 337 yards and one touchdown this season.
