Tom Coughlin has said that the New York Giants must restore some pride in their final game of the regular NFL season against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The reigning Super Bowl champions cannot win their division, and must rely on other teams losing on Sunday to secure a wildcard spot in the playoffs.
The Giants' head coach told reporters: "That is what I talked to our team [about] this morning - pride, honour, dignity, play the game that we are capable of playing. Finish the season with a game we can all be proud of.
"Will I be proud of the season? Right now, I have a short memory and I've got these two games [on my mind]. I am proud of the individuals. I am not proud of what's been accomplished.
"No-one wants to finish the season like we have the last couple of games. I am sure that will resonate a little interest on their part."
The Giants have eight wins and seven losses this season.
