David Wilson has said that he has to work on eliminating fumbles from his game.
The New York Giants running back lost the ball twice during the team's opening game of the 2013 NFL season.
The 22-year-old told the team's website: "You can't worry about that kind of stuff. You've just got to go out there and play your game and make plays. Fumbles have to be eliminated and that's something that's not going to help the team win.
"You can't worry about it too much, but you've got to make sure you don't do it. If you do it, it's not going to help the team, you'll have bad results. I'm just going out there and playing my game.
"Not just to me, though, the whole team because next time it could be somebody else. So he wants to fix it with the whole team. He's doing his part and we've got to do our part when we get on the field."
Wilson finished the 36-31 loss to the Dallas Cowboys with seven carries for 19 rushing yards.
