New York Jets wide receiver Eric Decker concedes that he is finding it hard to watch Emmanuel Sanders have success in his former role at the Denver Broncos this season.

New York Jets wide receiver Eric Decker has admitted that he is finding it difficult to watch Emmanuel Sanders and the Denver Broncos have success this season.

Decker played for the Broncos for four seasons after being drafted by the club in 2010, but he opted to leave in the off-season to accept a lucrative deal with the Jets.

However, he has conceded that he does not like watching Sanders, who was signed as his replacement, perform well alongside Peyton Manning in his former position.

"Honestly, sometimes it's hard to watch them when they're playing," Decker told the New York Daily News. "When they're clicking on all cylinders, they're a tough football team. They got the right pieces.

"Emmanuel Sanders is playing well in my spot, so to speak. Sometimes, you know, it's tough to see all the success. But that's football. It's going to go in swings.

"Who says we can't be a great football team? We got to obviously do some right things to get there, but I'm happy for Peyton and Demaryius [Thomas]. I respect them so much. They're all good friends, so I like to see them do well, but sometimes it's hard."

Decker has recorded 43 receptions for 450 yards and four touchdowns for the Jets this season.
