New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan has claimed that his side provided New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady with another huge "challenge" despite their narrow defeat.
The Patriots secured a 17-16 win over the Jets, in potentially Ryan's last home game as coach of the team, but Brady was far from his best in the match as he threw for just 182 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing an interception.
Ryan feels that his team have given Brady and Bill Belichick's men plenty to think about in his six seasons playing against them.
He told reporters: "We're the team that always gives [Brady] his biggest challenge, whether he admits it or not."
The Patriots secured a first-round bye in the playoffs with the win, while the Jets dropped to 3-12 in their season.
