New York Jets tight end Kellen Winslow has been suspended by the NFL for violating their policy on performance-enhancing drugs.
The 30-year-old will be banned for four of his side's matches starting with their clash with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
Winslow only joined the Jets this season and was played in a reduced role in their win over the Atlanta Falcons on Monday, but will now miss the next month of games and will not be eligible to return until November 4.
The former Cleveland Browns man has caught 17 passes for 169 yards including two for touchdowns this season.
