Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Fletcher Cox has insisted that he needs to up his level of performances this year.
The 23-year-old has been a steady performer for the Eagles in his first two years at the club, but he believes that he can play a lot better to become one of the elite tackles in the NFL.
"Basically, it's got to be one of my better years this year, my third year going in," Cox told reporters. "I've got two years under my belt. Hey, I'm ready to take off."
Cox has recorded 80 tackles and 8.5 sacks in his first two years at the club.
