The Philadelphia Eagles have completed a deal to bring in wide receiver Jeff Maehl from the Houston Texans in a trade for Nate Menkin.
Maehl played under current Eagles coach Chip Kelly at college level and has been drafted in to add depth to the club's wide receiver ranks.
The 24-year-old made three appearances for the Texans in 2011 but spent most of last year on the inactive roster.
Maehl received 77 catches for 1,076 yards during his senior year at Oregon.
